Included for your stay is a welcome pack containing local produce, a box of our own chickens' free range eggs, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a bottle of local Norfolk apple juice.

We always try to source locally grown fresh flowers whenever possible.

All bedlinen and towels (except beach towels) are provided, along with eco hand soap, toilet rolls and shower and bath gel. We supply a range of suitable eco cleaning products which suit our bio treatment plant (including dishwasher tablets, washing powder, fabric softener, washing up liquid, all purpose cleaner and bathroom cleaner).

Some kitchen basics are also available for your stay, including kitchen roll, cling film, tin foil, baking parchment, rapeseed oil, salt and pepper, and a small selection of herbs and spices. We also provide a dishcloth, washing up brush and pan scrubber, as well as tea towels.

A starter pack of firewood and all you need to start the woodburner is provided free of charge. Additional seasoned hardwood and kindling can be purchased at cost price from us. We do ask that you use suitable seasoned firewood (coal cannot be used).

There are games and books you are welcome to borrow and there is a large television, DVD player and radio as well.

There is free internet access available.

Local shopping options

In the centre of Ludham is Throwers, a traditional village store with a post office and even a hairdressers! Other local independant stores include Meales at Wayford Bridge and Roys in Wroxham. A medium sized Tesco and petrol station is 6 miles away in Stalham.

Some visitors like to get their food shopping delivered direct to the holiday accommodation and all of the major supermarkets (including Sainsburys, Waitrose, Asda and Tesco) will deliver to us. We are too rural for Ocado deliveries! If you are organising an online shop please do request that it is delivered at least an hour after your arrival time (there is a tendancy for drivers to deliver earlier than booked).
